Snowdon photographed me first wearing the hat and I suppose I chucked it on my foot when he asked me to take it off. There were no further royal requests (he was then married to the Queen's sister, Margaret) to remove a piece of clothing; tho he had arranged the untidy clothes which I had brought for the shoot. The Observer had a piece on bright actors to watch.
